Sadly, it's the mind that overpowers the spirit.
First class honours is just momentary glory. It has not gotten me a decent job. Decent meaning reasonable monthly pay with a learning curve and creative maturity. They don't exist, at least not for me.
I'm still filled with bitterness. My spirit jumps for joy at another person's accomplishment. But my mind embitters me at that very instant.
I need to find my peace again.
